SMSC

We promote Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) development in all pupils throughout the curriculum, this includes British values, and teaching them about healthy living, preparing them for life in modern Britain and enabling them to make positive life choices. Pupils have regular opportunities to develop their social skills, self-knowledge and self-esteem from speaking and listening activities in the classroom to contributing to whole school initiatives such as national awareness events, pupil voice or assemblies. They are also encouraged to respect their learning environment and take pride in all they achieve; supported by the school's expectations and Class Dojo reward system, pupils become reflective, resilient, resourceful and responsible learners.
